Research at the frontier of particle physics, detector instrumentation, and neutrino phenomenology.
Our group usually has a new postdoc opening every ~2 years. Interested candidates are encouraged to email Prof. Karagiorgi. There are also a number of other attractive postdoc funding possibilities, including the Marie Curie Global Fellowship for European postdocs, the Neutrino Theory Network Fellowship in the US, or the NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship. Application deadlines for these opportunities are usually in the beginning of fall.
We currently have an opening for a first- or second-year PhD student in our group (from within the cohort of students admitted to Columbia’s Physics PhD program). Interested candidates are encouraged to email Prof. Karagiorgi for more details.
